Before I locked I used the Hollywood Olive Creme it is the bomb and its only like $2.49 at my Wal Mart. I have tried the carrot creme version it was horrible. The Olive creme is so much better then the carrot creme.

Here are the ingredients to the olive creme.
Water, Isopropyl Myristate, soybean oil, oilive oil, stearic acid, stearyl alcohol, glycerol sterate, vitamin e, matricaria extract(chamomile), Calendula extract, vitamin B, macademia nut oil, vitamin a, coconut oil, rosemary extract, sage extract, vitamin C, great burdock extract, triethanolamine, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, imidazolidnyl urea, fragrance, fd&c yellow #5, fd&c blue#1.

Thanks, AK. That looks doable. I will try it as soon as I get rid of the stuff I've got now.

After seeing this product mentioned so many times on the boards, I decided to give it a try myself. I bought it Saturday and used it for the first time today. I like it! I used it after my usual morning rinse. I applied it on soaking wet hair -- as I do with all my styling products -- before shaking out the excess water.

The product is very light and so far my hair is very soft. I think it's a keeper. It doesn't hurt that it's also inexpensive.

Edited to add: When I reviewed this earlier this morning, my hair was still quite damp. My hair is now (finally!) dry and I gotta tell you that my hair is so soft and touchable. No greasy "aftertaste" whatsoever and my hair has nice sheen. I really like this product a lot. I'll definitely keep it in my product rotation.

I've used this product in the past on my relaxed hair. I found it to be flaky in my hair and it didn't do a good job at moisturizing either .
For anyone that is concerned about pore clogging I'd be wary of this product. The principle ingredient is isopropyl myristate. Isopropyl myristate(or palmitate) is far more occlusive(pore clogging) than both mineral oil and petrolatum.

This product made my hair soft, but the smell is over-powering.

Who is the manufacturer of this product? Tried to find it at Sally's but didn't see it.

I just bought the Hollywood Beauty Olive Creme today and I have to say that I like it. I looked for it for a while in the beauty store because I thought the container was black and white, but it is olive and white. It only cost me 2.99 and it makes my hair sooo soft and fluffy. I let my hair air dry and it is really touchable. I used it with my jojoba oil and some Elasta QP Feels Like Silk and my curls are so defined but soft to the touch. The smell isn't that bad and the price is good. I am glad I found this one.

Can't find the olive creme anywhere. Believe me I checked. Has any one found it in the San Diego Area? I found and bought the carrot creme. I also bought the olive oil. How come 3 of the stores I checked had the olive oil but not the creme. Is the olive creme new? Also for those who tried the carrot and olive, which one do you like better and why? Is it pretty much the same?

Hey! I just bought the Olive Oil Cream and so far I really like it! My hair (b4 the cream) was hard and then after I used it it became soft. Four hours later and it's still soft! I think this is a definite keeper!

Yes, I've been using this product for a while now and it is THE BOMB!!! It's the perfect moisturizer and I also use it to double as a styling aid because it gives glorious definition to my curls/coils.

DEFINITELY a keeper!!!

Opportunitylocks, after I do my conditioner "wash" and rinse, I towel dry my hair. Then I spritz in Infusium 23 Moisturizing Leave-In Conditioner. After that, I just apply enough of the Hollywood Beauty to coat my hair and finger fluff.

Others may use a different technique, but this is what I have found works best for me.
